Just one of the many toxic fruits of a terrible tree
I'm so glad this document has not (successfully) been disappeared into the memory hole.
You see, in mormonism, the men sustained as "prophets, seers, and revelators" —like Boyd Packer, the author of this document— can be thrown under the bus after they're dead and the living holders of those titles find the old teachings inconvenient or embarrassing; the same will be done to them when they die. That's not to say that all of the poison Boyd spewed has been or will be disavowed (to say nothing of apologized for; the mormon church does not give apologies), but the upward arc of human history does gradually force the mormon Quorum of Public Relations to dilute their toxic teachings and practices.
I would not recommend reading this document for the sake of enjoyment, whether your existence has been untouched by mormonism or it stole decades of the only life you'll get to live. But again, it is good that the internet is preserving this stuff. To borrow a line from the scriptures I wasted thousands of hours studying, "their own words shall condemn them."

Typical LDS "wholesome" pamphlet
Typical LDS pamphlet for young people warning them of having bad thoughts, and to "resist them vigorously". Contrary to the other review, there was no incitement to violence in any way at all, and that was scanning the book 3x. The reviewer appears to be on an agenda to give poor or one star reviews to titles of content he/she disagrees with, which is pretty sad.
Not being LDS/Mormon myself I disagree with their teachings and religion- but I am GLAD this is archived, it IS history, and it is NOT IN COPYRIGHT. It is free to distribute, copy, scan, or download.
